Crooswijk
Crooswijk used to be known as a real Rotterdam neighborhood with its cattle market, slaughterhouse and brewery. This activity has disappeared from the neighborhood. Hundreds of houses have been replaced by these, in which old and new Rotterdammers together shape the new Rotterdam. Stately canals, historical monuments and cemeteries give a pleasant atmosphere to a renovated neighborhood.
